It is however possible, thanks to the OneUI 2.0 interface, to switch to WQHD + (3,200 x 1,440 px, 523 ppi) or HD + (1,600 x 720 px, 261 ppi). A choice of definition which has an impact on the energy consumption of the smartphone. Note that the 120 Hz mode allowed by the S20 + screen is not available in the highest definition (WQHD +).

Oled obliges, the slab offers a contrast ratio which tends towards infinity. To this is added an almost perfect calibration, provided you make a small check in the settings menu. Thus, by choosing the “Natural” screen profile, we observe an average delta E of 1.9. This value less than three guarantees chromatic drifts invisible to the eye. This keeps the display comfortable even in direct sunlight. Able to go down to 1.7 cd / m², the minimum brightness does not pose any concern in the most total darkness either. Who is Galaxy S20+today – and should you buy it?
After I had the opportunity to review the Galaxy S20 and S0 Plus, I will be able to give you some practical advice for purchasing the S20. This is hard to evaluate now, since all phones have different camera systems and slightly different battery capabilities.

I wish I had been so amazed by the Galaxy S20 + that I can tell you without hesitation that this is the model you want. After a week of focused testing, I’m not sure about it.

There is no doubt that photography enthusiasts will have a blast that includes a 108-megapixel Galaxy S20 + setup and 100x zoom in their repertoire, but for most of the people I talk to, these additional settings are academically interesting, but not required at all.

$ 1,400 is a truckload spent on the phone. If the lighter, smaller $ 1,000 variant ends up taking pretty good photos, the Ultra argument will drop quickly ….
